Just got this in my Email, now TG has been available on Netflix for some time, but I hate watching it there, somehow the sound track always seems neutered, when compared to seeing it on Iplayer. For example take a look at the Lancia Integrale clips from Season 14 episode 3, there is a point where a clip of the Cinematic Orchestra - To build a home is being used, and in the US version it has been removed. The feel of the film is completely lost. Why this special treatment for America WHY?

Copyright limitations, I suspect. If so, it'll be the same situation for the Hulu versions.

However, I have the feeling the episodes that will be available on Hulu will be the BBC USA versions, meaning 44-minute runtime and with commercial breaks. Ergo, worse than Netflix. I could be wrong.

I have an archive. I really need better versions of seasons 1 and 2... I'm sure there's a torrent somewhere with every ep from every season, as originally broadcast in the UK.

True, but look at it this way, you have millions of people watching this show all over, I would imagine to keep people watching it legally, they shouldn't be adulterating the product to begin with.

I actually haven't heard Man with the movie Camera, will check it out when I get home..

All things to all men - yes one of my favorites as well. And more often than not Im introduced to new music through Top gear, I started listening to Ludovico Einaudi, after watching their Bolivia special..

On Netflix most of them are all there, some of them have either the news segment or SIARPC segment cut short. but watchable id imagine if the neutered sound track does not bother you too much..

I don't know if I can deal with the missing music. However I love Hulu Plus and crunchyroll because even though I'm not from the country, the creators get a bit of money from me watching their show.

Now I know this is diffrent for american TV shows seeing how as they have boat loads of money. However many anime studios are looking under the couch cushions as it is.

However for what is one of the most viewed shows...IN THE WORLD, that dosen't rely on advertising to pay the light bills. I don't think they'll miss my view count too much.
